Process Engineer, PCB Reliability (Starlink)

SpaceX is hiring a Process Engineer for the PCB Reliability team to enhance the quality and reliability of their in-house PCB production for Starlink. This role involves collaboration across teams to conduct reliability testing, root cause investigations, and establish quality standards.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure PCB compliance with mission requirements
• Conduct root cause analysis for reliability concerns
• Perform mechanical and electrical testing per IPC standards
• Analyze data from accelerated life testing for reliability assessments
• Develop quality standards and procedures based on data analysis
• Support process improvements and document findings

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics
• Experience in hardware development or electronics testing
• Familiarity with IPC standards for PCBs
• Understanding of physics-of-failure for PCBs
• Experience with reliability testing and data analysis tools
• Scripting skills in Python for data processing
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
