Process Safety Engineer (Raptor/Starship)

SpaceX is looking for a Process Safety Engineer to enhance human safety protocols across innovative technologies and manufacturing processes while contributing to the development of launch vehicles for Mars colonization. What you'll do

• Develop safety tools and procedures for production process planning
• Conduct risk assessments on industrial machinery
• Serve as Laser Safety Officer
• Perform PFMEAs for safe manufacturing
• Analyze tooling and ground support equipment safety
• Provide guidance on high pressure systems

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field
• 1+ years in manufacturing or design engineering
• Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies
• Proficiency in CAD tools
• Experience with MySQL, Python, and Tableau
• Strong collaborative skills
• Understanding of process safety management
• Knowledge of CAE/CFD tools
