Propulsion Engineer (Raptor Final Assembly & Tube Shop)

SpaceX is seeking a Propulsion Engineer to manage the Raptor final assembly and Tube Shop production. The role focuses on enhancing assembly processes, collaborating with engineering teams, and troubleshooting manufacturing challenges to ensure efficient engine production.

What you'll do

• Oversee build and test processes in Raptor production area
• Develop and refine high volume assembly processes
• Collaborate across teams to improve production efficiency
• Work with engineering to standardize design and manufacturing
• Resolve build issues and implement corrective actions
• Design and improve tooling for effective production

What they're looking for

• Mechanical, aerospace, or manufacturing engineering degree
• 1+ years of mechanical design and manufacturing experience
• Experience with fluid and electrical systems
• Documentation and configuration management
• Test plan and procedure development
• Understanding of various manufacturing processes
• Design for Manufacturability and Assembly expertise
• Experience with NX CAD and GD&T
