RF Engineer (Starshield)

SpaceX is seeking an RF Engineer for its Starshield team, focusing on advanced RF systems for government applications, including earth observation and communications. The role involves collaborating with various engineering disciplines to develop and validate RF hardware solutions designed for low earth orbit.

What you'll do

• Lead RF system design decisions
• Develop novel RF solutions for large-scale satellites
• Collaborate with hardware, DSP, and software engineers
• Manage full life cycle support of RF hardware
• Create electromagnetic simulation models
• Modify electrical schematics for reliability and manufacturability

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's in electrical/computer engineering
• 1+ years in RF engineering
• Experience with analysis tools (HFSS, MATLAB)
• Knowledge of RF test equipment
• Experience in RF systems design
• Understanding of antenna theory
• Familiarity with software-defined radios
• Ability to obtain Top Secret SCI clearance
