RF Systems Analysis Engineer, Regulatory (Starlink)

SpaceX is seeking an RF Systems Analysis Engineer to support the regulatory efforts for Starlink, its advanced broadband internet system. The role involves analyzing radio frequency interference and developing strategies for licensing and spectrum coordination to facilitate Starlink's growth and compliance with regulatory standards.

What you'll do

• Conduct analyses on radio frequency interference and satellite spectrum coordination
• Model operational topology and hardware for Starlink and non-geostationary satellites
• Simulate various regulatory and geographic scenarios
• Analyze network impacts based on simulation results and recommend policies
• Support advocacy efforts for regulatory recommendations

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, or C++
• 1+ years in RF systems or antenna-related fields
• Basic understanding of satellite hardware and orbital mechanics
• Familiarity with satellite network simulation and analysis
• Knowledge of RF communications topics
