RF Test Engineer (Starlink/Akoustis)

Akoustis, a SpaceX subsidiary, seeks a skilled RF Test Engineer to enhance the manufacturing of RF filters that support the Starlink mission. The role demands expertise in developing testing procedures and driving process improvements within a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

• Develop test cases for RF BAW filter devices
• Implement calibration procedures for devices between 2GHz and >10GHz
• Enhance manufacturing yield and reduce costs
• Lead test operators and maintain workflow
• Collaborate with design teams for manufacturability optimization
• Utilize SPC and DOE for process improvement

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 1+ years of RF test engineering experience
• Experience with automated wafer probe stations and VNA systems
• Proficiency in JMP, Microsoft Office, KLayout CAD software
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to create technical documentation
• Solid understanding of SPC and DOE methodologies
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments
