RFIC Design Engineer (RFIC Engineering)

SpaceX is looking for an RFIC Design Engineer to join their team in Irvine, CA, focusing on the development of advanced RF integrated circuits for the Starlink project. The role involves collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams to enhance connectivity solutions for users globally.

What you'll do

• Design and model RF/analog/mixed-signal circuits
• Develop specifications for RFIC subsystems
• Create circuits in SiGe or CMOS processes
• Collaborate with system architects and engineers
• Perform IC floor planning and layout
• Evaluate prototypes and analyze radio performance

What they're looking for

• 2+ years of RF integrated circuit experience
• Simulation tool proficiency (Spectre, ADS)
• Circuit design and analysis skills
• Knowledge of digital communication systems
• Familiarity with RF transceiver architectures
• Experience in microwave frequencies
• Ability to work long hours and weekends
• Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering field
