RFIC Design Engineer (RFIC Engineering)

SpaceX is seeking an RFIC Design Engineer to contribute to the development of advanced RF integrated circuits for its Starlink project. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance connectivity solutions for users worldwide, particularly in challenging environments.

What you'll do

• Design and simulate RF/analog circuits and systems
• Derive specifications for RFIC subsystems
• Develop circuits using SiGe or CMOS processes
• Collaborate with system architects and engineers
• Perform IC floor planning and layout
• Characterize and analyze radio performance

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field
• 2+ years of RF integrated circuit experience
• Experience with simulation tools like ADS and HFSS
• Circuit design and analysis skills
• Knowledge of digital communication systems
• Familiarity with RF transceiver architectures
• Experience in Ku-band, K-band, and Ka-band RF design
• Ability to work extended hours as needed
