About this role
SpaceX seeks a software engineer to build reliable systems for managing the Starlink satellite constellation. You'll develop ground-based and flight software for command, control, and fleet management of thousands of low-earth orbit satellites, owning the full lifecycle from design through deployment.
What you'll do
- Develop highly reliable software for managing thousands of satellites in low-earth orbit
- Own accountability for all software written, including interactions with hardware and external systems
- Design software for both satellite vehicles and supporting ground infrastructure
- Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineers on product planning and development
