Silicon Packaging Process Engineer, Production (Starlink)

SpaceX is seeking a Silicon Packaging Process Engineer to lead the development and manufacturing of packaging assembly processes for their Starlink satellite initiative. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and will be responsible for driving improvements in quality, efficiency, and defect reduction within integrated circuit packaging.

What you'll do

• Manage packaging assembly processes from concept to mass production
• Develop and implement new packaging technologies and methods
• Support packaging prototypes and product development in a high-volume environment
• Document and monitor process metrics for continuous improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in silicon design and production
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and conduct root cause analysis
