What you'll do

• Design and simulate optical components like modulators and filters
• Define specifications for photonics IC systems and circuits
• Model optical interfaces including edge and grating couplers
• Collaborate with various engineering teams on system architecture
• Perform IC floor planning and layout
• Evaluate and measure optical link solutions

What they're looking for

• Experience with photonics or electro-optical integrated circuit design
• Knowledge of RF and mixed signal circuits
• Proficiency in simulation tools like Lumerical and COMSOL
• Electrical circuit design capabilities
• Understanding of high-speed SerDes architecture
• Familiarity with optical test equipment
• Experience in automated lab testing development
• Collaboration skills across disciplines
