Software Engineer, Test Infrastructure (Application Software)

About this role

SpaceX is seeking a Software Engineer for its Test Infrastructure team to develop and maintain critical testing tools for flight systems, emphasizing software reliability and performance. Candidates will contribute to SpaceXAI initiatives and collaborate closely with various engineering teams to enhance testing capabilities.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain core test infrastructure framework
• Enhance reliability and performance of testing software
• Collaborate with flight software engineers to create new features
• Take ownership of software engineering processes for test infrastructure
• Analyze user issues to devise effective solutions

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 1+ years with C/C++
• 1+ years with Python
• Experience in telemetry-based software
• Proficiency in software system design
• Knowledge of testing and continuous integration
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with UNIX-like OS management tools
