Structural Engineer (Critical Infrastructure)

SpaceX is seeking a Structural Engineer for its critical infrastructure team in Hawthorne, CA. The role involves designing and managing advanced manufacturing facilities and collaborating with various engineering disciplines to support the company's mission for space exploration.

What you'll do

• Lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform design and analysis for structural steel and concrete.
• Develop and issue engineering documentation and drawings.
• Negotiate and manage construction contracts.
• Oversee civil and structural construction projects.
• Conduct onsite engineering inspections and resolve field conflicts.

What they're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering.
• 1+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Knowledge of AISC, ACI, and ASCE codes.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Experience with SAP 2000 or similar analysis software.
• Strong communication skills.
• Project management experience.
• Understanding of various engineering disciplines.
