About this role
SpaceX seeks a Structural Engineer to design and manage civil/structural infrastructure for the Starlink facility in Bastrop, TX. You'll collaborate across disciplines on fast-paced capital projects, handling design documentation, construction contracts, and real-time field problem-solving.
What you'll do
- Perform civil and structural engineering for manufacturing, industrial, and commercial construction projects
- Create structural drawings, design documentation, and technical reports
- Write, negotiate, and manage construction contracts with subcontractors through completion
- Develop cost estimates, project schedules, and cost control reports
- Resolve design and construction conflicts in the field in real-time
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, fabricators, and project stakeholders
