The Supplier Development Engineer for Assembly Processes at SpaceX will focus on developing precision assembly processes for the Starlink User Terminal business, ensuring successful high-volume manufacturing through supplier engagement and process engineering. This role encompasses end-to-end process development, equipment qualification, and performance monitoring to enhance manufacturing capabilities.

What you'll do

• Lead end-to-end process development and qualification for assembly technologies
• Engage with suppliers on equipment and tooling design
• Optimize joining processes like ultrasonic and hot plate welding
• Develop precision dispense processes for materials
• Establish automated optical inspection systems
• Perform reactive quality engineering and support
