Supplier Development Engineer, Mechanical (Starlink Aviation)

SpaceX is seeking a Supplier Development Engineer for its Starlink Aviation division in Woodinville, WA. This role involves enhancing supplier capabilities, ensuring quality, and supporting new product introductions within the aviation sector, contributing to the company's mission of enabling human life on Mars.

What you'll do

• Serve as the technical liaison to resolve supplier challenges
• Conduct Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews for outsourced parts
• Collaborate with procurement to match suppliers with part requirements
• Lead New Product Introductions (NPI) at supplier facilities
• Validate corrective actions from suppliers to ensure sustainability
• Drive improvement in supply chain performance and customer satisfaction

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or STEM
• 1+ years of experience in manufacturing or quality
• Knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9000, AS9100)
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and improvements
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Ability to make timely risk-based decisions
