About this role
SpaceX is seeking a Test Engineer for propulsion components focused on the Starship project. The ideal candidate will be part of a hands-on team responsible for testing and validating flight hardware, ensuring compliance with safety standards while collaborating across multiple engineering disciplines.
What you'll do
- Act as the instrumentation and test expert within the development team
- Create detailed test plans for flight hardware validation
- Support anomaly and failure investigations
- Develop requirements for new testing systems
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design new test systems
- Train personnel on complex test operations

- Bachelor’s degree in physics or engineering
- 1+ years of experience with mechanical, fluid, or electrical systems
- Understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering concepts
