About this role

SpaceX seeks a Test Engineer to design and execute rigorous testing programs for Starship engines, components, and spacecraft systems. This role involves hands-on test operations, equipment design, data acquisition troubleshooting, and collaboration with design teams to validate hardware performance under accelerated development timelines.

What you'll do

  • Design and execute engine and component-level tests to evaluate hardware performance and mission survivability
  • Own complete test campaigns including planning, system activation, operations, data analysis, and stand equipment design
  • Direct technicians on fabrication and integration of test articles and stand equipment
  • Develop and maintain test procedures, scripts, configuration files, and automation software
  • Operate and troubleshoot National Instruments-based data acquisition systems and instrumentation
  • Operate and troubleshoot fluid, mechanical, and propulsion systems including cryogenics, hypergolics, and high-pressure components
