SpaceX is seeking a Thermal Mechanical Test Engineer to contribute to the silicon packaging of Starlink hardware. This role involves developing and executing thermal and mechanical models and tests to ensure the reliability and performance of semiconductor packaging and board assemblies.
What you'll do
- Develop and run thermal and mechanical finite element models
- Design and execute thermal and mechanical test campaigns
- Perform board-level thermal characterization and testing
- Operate and maintain thermal and mechanical test equipment
- Analyze test data and correlate with empirical results
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
