Water Treatment Engineer (Starlink)

SpaceX is seeking a Water Treatment Engineer for the Starlink program, responsible for overseeing the activation and optimization of an ultrapure water treatment facility to support high-volume manufacturing. This role requires collaboration with various teams to ensure effective operations and adherence to regulatory standards.

What you'll do

• Oversee construction and operations of ultrapure water treatment facility
• Design and implement mechanical and fluid systems
• Analyze lab data and operator feedback for plant operations
• Develop and improve operational procedures and methods
• Build strong partnerships with engineering and regulatory teams
• Identify continuous improvement projects

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, or science
• 1+ years in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in wastewater treatment (preferred)
• Understanding of process parameters
• Ability to interpret CAD drawings and P&IDs
• Familiarity with mechanical systems maintenance
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
• Experience transitioning R&D to production
