Wireless Firmware Engineer (Starlink Mobile)

As a Wireless Firmware Engineer for the Starlink Mobile program at SpaceX, you will design and implement wireless signal processing algorithms for satellite communications. This role involves close collaboration with engineers to enhance the development of wireless systems and resolve complex performance challenges.

What you'll do

• Design and implement physical layer algorithms for satellite communications.
• Develop optimized signal processing algorithms for resource-constrained CPUs.
• Run simulations to analyze system performance, including modem effectiveness.
• Document and maintain wireless PHY and MAC layers of the protocol stack.
• Debug complex performance issues in wireless systems.
• Engage in architecture and design reviews to inform next-gen hardware.
