SpaceX/Akoustis seeks a Yield Engineer to optimize RF BAW filter manufacturing by correlating wafer probe and final test data, identifying yield loss root causes, and driving process improvements across production. What you'll do
- Develop RF test cases and calibration procedures for BAW filters in the 2–10+ GHz range
- Perform root cause analysis linking wafer probe data to final test performance to eliminate yield detractors
- Apply SPC and DOE to monitor, control, and improve yield across the manufacturing flow
- Create Cost of Ownership and risk models to evaluate probe strategies and test coverage
- Optimize throughput and cycle time in RF test operations while maintaining quality standards
- Mentor test operators, support tool qualification, and maintain documentation and SOPs
