Specter is seeking an experienced Antenna and RF Hardware Design Engineer to lead the design and qualification of RF components critical for their long-range wireless sensor systems. This role will encompass the entire design lifecycle, from simulation and fabrication to measurement and production qualification, supporting a fast-growing team focused on physical AI and robotics.
What you'll do
- Design and model antennas using HFSS or CST.
- Develop matching networks and filtering for RF front-ends.
- Integrate multiple radio technologies (Wi-Fi, HaLow, etc.).
- Own RF schematic and layout decisions at the PCB level.
- Characterize designs using a VNA and measurement equipment.
- Define acceptance criteria and collaborate on production qualification.
