Software Engineer - Investment Systems
About this role
KKR's Investment Technology team seeks a Lead Engineer to architect and deliver complex systems powering the investment lifecycle across private equity, credit, real assets, and capital markets. You'll lead cross-functional technical initiatives, mentor engineers, and drive platform strategy while working 4 days per week in San Francisco.
What you'll do
- Lead planning and execution of large-scale technical initiatives across investment systems
- Drive architectural design for complex features and multi-component systems
- Coordinate work across engineering teams, product partners, and stakeholders
- Identify and remove execution blockers to improve delivery efficiency
- Mentor engineers and develop technical depth across the team
- Ensure systems are reliable, scalable, and aligned with platform strategy
