About this role

Standard Bots, a rapidly growing robotics company, seeks an Automation Engineer to lead the deployment of their AI-powered robot arms at customer sites. You'll be responsible for the entire integration process, from initial design and programming to installation, testing, and ongoing support, ensuring reliable operation and exceeding customer expectations. This is a hands-on role requiring both technical expertise and strong communication skills.

What you'll do

  • Conduct site surveys and define robotic cell architecture.
  • Program robots and integrate them with PLC/MES/ERP systems.
  • Lead on-site installation and provide customer training.
  • Perform factory and site acceptance testing (FAT/SAT).
  • Troubleshoot issues and identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain clear, accurate as-built documentation.
