Information Security Engineer

About this role

State Affairs is seeking a Corporate Security Engineer to enhance the security infrastructure for employees and corporate systems. The role focuses on identity management, endpoint security, and IT operations to ensure secure access and compliance across the organization.

What you'll do

• Oversee identity and access management systems, including SSO and MFA
• Manage onboarding and offboarding security processes
• Enhance endpoint security controls for macOS and Windows devices
• Investigate and respond to security alerts and incidents
• Automate workflows using scripts and REST APIs
• Support compliance validation for SOC 2 and similar standards

What they're looking for

• Experience with identity providers and access controls
• Knowledge of endpoint security and MDM tools
• Familiarity with networking concepts like TCP/IP and VPN
• Scripting abilities in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Proficient in using Git for documentation
• Strong communication skills
