About this role
Still Bright is seeking an experienced Engineer III – Electrochemistry to contribute to the development and improvement of their innovative RACER electrochemical cell. This hands-on role involves designing experiments, analyzing data, and translating findings into scalable cell designs to advance their technology from pilot to demonstration scale. You will collaborate closely with other engineering teams and mentor junior staff, ensuring a focus on rigorous experimentation and safety.
What you'll do
- Plan and execute electrochemical cell tests, including data analysis and troubleshooting.
- Optimize cell operating parameters to enhance performance and durability.
- Lead build-test-learn cycles, including long-duration stability testing (up to 1000 hours).
- Analyze cell-level performance metrics like voltage, current efficiency, and degradation.
- Develop and maintain test plans, performance models, and equipment specifications.
