Stoke is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team at Cape Canaveral, supporting the development and operations of Launch Pad Mechanisms for their reusable Nova launch vehicle. This role involves designing, testing, and supporting mechanisms, as well as collaborating with various engineering disciplines and vendors to ensure seamless launch operations. What you'll do

  • Design, fabricate, test, and support Launch Operations mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and vendors throughout the fabrication and testing process.
  • Establish requirements and interfaces with Nova Vehicle Engineers and Designers.
  • Create and maintain documentation for workflows and processes.
  • Ensure integrated designs with other GSE disciplines (hydraulics, electrical, controls).
