Stratolaunch is hiring a Flight Termination System Engineer to enhance the technical development of air-launched hypersonic aircraft, focusing on Flight Termination Systems (FTS) and Autonomous Flight Safety Systems (AFSS). The role involves close collaboration with safety personnel and requires a strong background in aerospace systems integration and avionics design.

What you'll do

• Support development and testing of FTS and AFSS
• Collaborate with safety teams to review FTS documentation
• Assist in design and procurement of AFSS hardware
• Contribute to flight test planning for Stratolaunch missions
• Develop technical requirements for FTS and AFSS
• Evaluate risks and mitigation strategies
