Stratolaunch is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure product and process quality at supplier sites, involving travel for audits and quality assessments. The role emphasizes collaboration across various teams and the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with the Supplier Management team on sourcing decisions
- Conduct supplier audits for compliance and quality standards
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action for nonconformances
- Facilitate communication of quality requirements with suppliers
- Review and approve supplier quality plans and inspection procedures
- Travel to supplier sites for performance monitoring and issue resolution

- Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, AS9100)
- Experience with quality improvement tools (MSA, APQP, CAPA)
- Supplier quality management expertise
- Familiarity with aerospace industry standards
- Strong initiative and prioritization abilities

- Proficiency in MS Office
- Optional: Statistical analysis applications knowledge
