Systems Engineer

About this role

Stratolaunch is looking for a Systems Engineer to work on hypersonic vehicle projects that support national security. The ideal candidate will have a strong systems engineering background and experience in the full lifecycle of system development, including test planning and compliance.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with stakeholders to derive and document requirements
• Develop test and evaluation plans
• Plan and execute tests for various vehicle components
• Monitor compliance with requirements throughout the program
• Ensure safety during test activities
• Participate in test design and execution reviews

• Systems engineering experience
• Knowledge of electrical and avionics systems
• Experience with military missile systems
• Familiarity with military standards
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to obtain security clearance
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Experience with CAD and configuration management systems
