People Systems Platform Engineer (Salesforce)

About this role

Stripe is seeking a People Systems Platform Engineer to own and scale their internal Salesforce environment, serving as the technical anchor for HR service delivery and employee experience. You'll balance day-to-day operations with strategic platform improvements while partnering across People Operations, Finance, and Corporate Technology to build secure, integrated, and highly automated HR solutions.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable Salesforce configurations and customizations, balancing critical operations with strategic projects
• Develop declarative solutions using Advanced Flows and Approval Processes, collaborating with developers on complex programmatic work
• Own data pipelines and API integrations between Salesforce and core HR systems like Workday with strict security and auditability standards
• Manage data governance, user profiles, permission sets, and field-level security for sensitive HR information
• Monitor platform health, triage incidents, and implement observability practices to prevent disruptions to HR workflows
• Build reports, dashboards, and analytics to track HR metrics like case resolution and service delivery performance
