About this role
Stripe seeks a Security Engineer to secure AI/LLM integrations, payment infrastructure, and core products while mentoring teams and reducing security debt. You'll design threat models, build automation tooling, and partner with engineering teams to balance security with user experience across a financial platform.
What you'll do
- Develop secure AI and LLM usage frameworks for products and internal security operations
- Build and enhance automated threat modeling tooling to identify security risks
- Design secure payment and fund movement building blocks for Stripe's core products
- Lead threat modeling sessions and help teams reduce security debt across the portfolio
- Create automation, tooling, and training to empower engineering teams with security best practices
- Mentor teammates and drive high-impact, cross-functional security initiatives
