Software Engineer

About this role

Stripe is seeking a Software Engineer to build scalable financial infrastructure systems that process large volumes of data for risk mitigation and business intelligence. You'll design and deploy systems, APIs, and tools that serve millions of companies while improving engineering practices across the organization.

What you'll do

• Develop scalable systems to manage high-volume data and support Stripe's business objectives
• Design and implement rules systems for risk scoring, assessment, and automated mitigation actions
• Build tools to ingest and process signals from multiple sources for internal teams
• Debug production issues across multiple services and system layers
• Design, build, and maintain APIs and services using Go, Java, Python, or Ruby
• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes across teams
