About this role
Stripe is seeking a Software Engineer to develop scalable systems that process large volumes of financial data, implement risk mitigation rules engines, and build APIs and tools supporting the company's payments infrastructure. You'll work across the full development lifecycle, from design through production deployment, while improving engineering standards and debugging complex multi-service systems.
What you'll do
- Develop scalable systems to manage high-volume financial information and support business goals
- Design and deploy rules engines for risk scoring, assessment, and automated mitigation actions
- Build tools to ingest and process signals from multiple data sources for partner teams
- Participate in complete software development workflow including large-scale deployment
- Debug production issues across services and the full technology stack
- Design, build, and maintain APIs and services; improve engineering standards and tooling
