About this role
Supabase is seeking a Design Engineer to enhance the design and user experience of their marketing and documentation sites. This role requires a balance of design and coding skills, handling projects from concept through deployment independently.
What you'll do
- Own the design and experience of Supabase's marketing and documentation sites
- Collaborate with various teams to enhance site clarity and usability
- Ensure aesthetic quality, including typography and layout
- Develop and ship pages using modern front-end frameworks
- Refine illustrations and messaging for technical clarity
- Identify improvement opportunities proactively
What they're looking for
- Proficiency in design and front-end development
- Experience with React, Next.js, and Vite
- Understanding of developer tools and technical audiences
- Familiarity with AI tools for prototypes and developments
- Ability to work asynchronously and independently
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS
- Capacity to balance quality with speed in work
