Postgres Deployment Engineer (Nix)

Supabase is seeking a Postgres Deployment Engineer to enhance their PostgreSQL products. The role involves overseeing deployments and maintaining product stability while collaborating with product and infrastructure teams in a remote, asynchronous environment.

What you'll do

• Package software using Nix and transition existing packages
• Manage PostgreSQL lifecycles and upgrades
• Enhance platform release systems for self-service by developers
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines and tooling
• Identify and resolve production issues proactively
• Maintain best practices for stability and deployment

What they're looking for

• 3+ years of PostgreSQL experience
• Expertise in infrastructure management
• Proficiency in Nix, Ansible, Docker, and AWS
• Experience with multi-architecture builds
• Ability to work in polyglot environments
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with async teams
