SDK Engineer - Kotlin

About this role

Supabase is seeking a Kotlin SDK Engineer to enhance support for the Android and Kotlin Multiplatform ecosystems. This role focuses on designing and building a Kotlin SDK, collaborating with the developer community, and ensuring the SDK aligns with Kotlin conventions while addressing developer needs.

What you'll do

• Design and develop the Supabase Kotlin SDK.
• Define idiomatic API conventions for Kotlin developers.
• Manage the SDK roadmap based on feedback and product direction.
• Engage with the developer community on platforms like GitHub and Discord.
• Collaborate with other SDK team members to ensure consistency.
• Write documentation and guides for developers.

What they're looking for

• 5+ years experience with Kotlin applications
• Familiarity with Kotlin ecosystem tools (coroutines, Flow, etc.)
• Experience in building SDKs or libraries
• Ability to work with multiple programming languages
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in remote teams
