Windows Driver Validation Engineer supporting Nvidia

Nvidia is seeking a Windows Driver Validation Engineer to assist in ensuring the quality and compliance of Windows drivers and systems in Santa Clara, CA. The position involves testing, analysis, and collaboration with various teams to prepare drivers for release and improve system performance.

What you'll do

• Set up and configure devices and Windows OS builds
• Perform system-level and driver-level validation testing
• Investigate crashes and analyze logs for root cause analysis
• Develop and execute test plans for various driver builds
• Identify subsystem-level issues through exploratory testing
• Document defects and track issue resolutions

What they're looking for

• 5-8 years of Windows system/driver testing experience
• Hands-on experience with Windows validation and debugging
• Proficient in debugging tools like WinDbg/KDNET
• Understanding of Windows power management
• Experience with UEFI/BIOS settings configuration
• Ability to perform defect triage and analysis
• CI/CD pipeline experience for Windows builds
• Familiarity with Windows Driver Kit and certification processes
