About this role
Syntro is seeking a Founding Engineer to build the core technical foundation of their AI-powered procurement platform for hardware manufacturing. This is a unique opportunity to shape the architecture and engineering practices of a rapidly growing startup from the ground up, designing and building systems that transform how manufacturers source parts. You'll own systems end-to-end and play a crucial role in defining the company's technical vision.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and operate major parts of Syntro's systems.
- Develop an intelligence layer to structure data from various sources (emails, BOMs, ERPs, etc.).
- Build reliable agents capable of reasoning and taking action.
- Make foundational technical decisions related to architecture and abstractions.
- Establish engineering standards for testing, deployment, and debugging.
- Stay connected to customer needs to inform technical and product decisions.
