Tavus is seeking a Conversational Modelling Research Engineer to advance the capabilities of Foundation Multimodal Conversational Models. The ideal candidate will engage in research and development of verbal and non-verbal conversational aspects for AI-driven avatars, pushing the limits of real-time interaction.
What you'll do
- Research Large Multimodal Models for Conversational Avatars
- Develop methods for real-time avatar behavior adaptation
- Experiment with fine-tuning AudioVisual Multimodal Models
- Collaborate with the Applied ML team for production deployment
- Stay current with advancements in the field

- PhD or equivalent in a relevant field
- Experience with Large Multimodal Models
- Deep learning expertise
- Proficiency in PyTorch
- Fine-tuning skills for VLMs
