Tavus is seeking a Conversational Modelling Research Engineer to advance the capabilities of Foundation Multimodal Conversational Models. The ideal candidate will engage in research and development of verbal and non-verbal conversational aspects for AI-driven avatars, pushing the limits of real-time interaction.

What you'll do

• Research Large Multimodal Models for Conversational Avatars
• Develop methods for real-time avatar behavior adaptation
• Experiment with fine-tuning AudioVisual Multimodal Models
• Collaborate with the Applied ML team for production deployment
• Stay current with advancements in the field

• PhD or equivalent in a relevant field
• Experience with Large Multimodal Models
• Deep learning expertise
• Proficiency in PyTorch
• Fine-tuning skills for VLMs
