About this role

Temper is building a novel agentic integration platform for the physical economy, and they're seeking a Software Engineer to own core systems from end-to-end. This is an early-stage, high-intensity role where you'll directly influence the direction of the entire system, working closely with the founders to solve a challenging problem. You’ll be instrumental in designing and building critical infrastructure, orchestration, and self-healing capabilities.

What you'll do

  • Develop and maintain agent orchestration across specialized AI agents.
  • Build a platform engineering runtime for integration execution.
  • Design and implement self-healing systems to detect and recover from failures.
  • Contribute to a knowledge base of undocumented systems.
  • Shape engineering patterns for future hires.
  • Ship to production regularly and own systems end-to-end.
