About this role
Tenable is looking for a Channel Sales Engineer with a strong technical background in cybersecurity to support its southeast regional partners. This role focuses on empowering partners to effectively implement Tenable's security solutions while building relationships and conducting technical training sessions.
What you'll do
- Conduct technical training and workshops for partner engineers
- Assist partners in discovery calls and product demonstrations
- Advise partners on security architecture integration
- Lead discussions on vulnerability management and risk assessment
- Serve as a liaison between internal and partner technical teams
- Educate partners on cyber threats and represent the company at events
What they're looking for
- Sales Engineering or Technical Consulting experience
- Understanding of Cyber Exposure Lifecycle and Zero Trust architecture
- Hands-on experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of AI-driven threat detection and automation
- Proficiency in network troubleshooting and firewall management
- Professional-level security certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.)
- Strong communication and teaching skills
- Willingness to travel 30-50%
