Security Engineer

About this role

TENEX is seeking a skilled Security Engineer to enhance the security of its IT infrastructure and that of its clients. This role involves implementing security controls, conducting vulnerability assessments, and automating security processes within a collaborative environment.

What you'll do

• Design and implement security tools and technologies
• Conduct security gap assessments and propose remediation strategies
• Assist with customer success initiatives related to security
• Collaborate with the Security Operations Center for threat detection
• Develop and enforce security policies and procedures
• Champion security integration in the DevOps lifecycle

What they're looking for

• 2+ years of IT experience
• Experience in cybersecurity operations or engineering
• Hands-on with ZTNA, MDM, and EDR solutions
• Familiarity with network security concepts
• Proficiency in automation and security orchestration
• Knowledge of security policy development
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Ability to integrate security with IT systems
