Threat Intelligence Engineer

About this role

TENEX is looking for a Threat Intelligence Engineer to enhance their cybersecurity team by collecting and analyzing threat data. This role involves developing threat intelligence programs and collaborating across security functions to mitigate risks effectively.

What you'll do

• Gather and analyze threat intelligence from various sources
• Identify patterns in raw threat data and correlate with internal events
• Create and distribute threat intelligence reports and briefings
• Track threat actors and their tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
• Support the development of indicators of attack (IOAs) and compromise (IOCs)
• Monitor vulnerability disclosures and trends

What they're looking for

• 2-4 years of cybersecurity experience
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and threat landscape
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and related frameworks
• Experience with threat intelligence platforms and SIEM systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills
