About this role

Tenstorrent is looking for Physical Design Engineers to develop high-performance partitions for an advanced AI SoC. Candidates will manage the entire implementation process from synthesis to tapeout while collaborating with a talented team to tackle complex design challenges.

What you'll do

  • Perform synthesis, place-and-route (PNR), and static timing analysis (STA) for AI SoC components.
  • Ensure EM/IR closure and UPF consistency throughout the implementation.
  • Collaborate with architects and RTL designers to resolve implementation issues.

What they're looking for

  • Experience with Synopsys Design Compiler and IC Compiler II
  • Understanding of UPF/multi-voltage power domains
  • Familiarity with SoC interface IP integration
  • Knowledge of signoff processes like DRC/LVS and EM/IR
  • Competence in multi-clock and CDC-aware implementation
  • Expertise in DFT-aware physical implementation
