About this role
TerraFirma, a rapidly growing construction automation company founded by former SpaceX engineers, seeks a Radar Systems Engineer to develop and own electromagnetic sensing systems. You'll be responsible for the entire development lifecycle, from concept to prototype, including hardware and software development, algorithm design, and field testing. What you'll do
- Design and validate new sensor hardware with RF/antenna expertise.
- Develop and test algorithms for sensor fusion, image processing, and object detection (Python/R/C++).
- Own the system architecture for electromagnetic sensing applications.
- Work with interdisciplinary teams to design and test solutions.
- Lead teams and mentor new employees as needed.
- Design and run validation and testing campaigns.
