Spacecraft Systems Engineer

Terran Orbital is looking for a Spacecraft Systems Engineer to join their innovative team in Irvine, CA. This role focuses on the full lifecycle of spacecraft systems, including design, analysis, and integration of subsystems for satellite missions.

What you'll do

• Oversee the product lifecycle from concept to verification
• Ensure spacecraft compliance with mission requirements
• Collaborate on subsystem design and integration
• Conduct performance validation through technical analyses
• Develop and manage system requirements traceability
• Lead design reviews and execute test plans

What they're looking for

• Degree in aerospace or systems engineering
• 2+ years of systems engineering experience
• Familiarity with satellite systems
• Experience with requirements mapping
• Proficiency in MATLAB and SolidWorks
• Knowledge of satellite system budgets
• Understanding of program lifecycles and verification processes
• U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain a security clearance
