About this role
TerraPower is seeking a full-time Control Systems Engineer to support Natrium testing activities within their Information Technology Discipline. This role involves designing and integrating control systems using LabVIEW, PLC/PLA, and EPICS, working closely with test engineers to ensure safe and efficient experimentation. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and experience in a multi-disciplinary team environment, contributing to innovation in nuclear technologies and medical isotope production.
What you'll do
- Develop HMI templates in Phoebus.
- Write LabVIEW code for CompactRIO devices.
- Integrate control systems with EPICS.
- Develop PLC/PLA control code in Structured Text.
- Work with test engineers to integrate sensors and control hardware.
- Support experimental data acquisition.
