Torc is seeking a Hardware Engineer II to join their Base Hardware team in Ann Arbor, MI. This role involves developing and validating automotive hardware components while ensuring compliance with safety and functional requirements.

What you'll do

• Develop automotive hardware components
• Maintain requirements databases using DOORS and Jama
• Interpret system-level requirements with the System team
• Collaborate with Tier-1 suppliers to streamline projects
• Design robust test plans for quality assurance
• Create and maintain technical documentation

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant field
• Experience with DOORS and Jama
• Knowledge of automotive ECUs and methodologies
• Familiarity with CAN, PCIe, and Ethernet
• Ability to manage multiple tasks
• Knowledge of automotive electronics standards
• Experience with lab equipment like oscilloscopes
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
